Miss fire?
1999 super duty V10 4x4 manual .
Sat fot a year , came home to a grinding sound , was the balance shaft had come unattached .
repaired , and ran strong like before .
squirrels has has a little fun under the hood , but they usually don't chew much , just make a nest .
at 500k , I went with the usual maintenance, plugs , coil boots , fuel filter .
runs perfect at an idle , but has an intermittent stumble while driving , and off idle starting out , as in starting from a stop as the clutch is released .
using a snap on pro , I have no misfires .
maf , and fuel trims are as they should be , bounce between minus 3 to plus 3 .
the cylinder balance test shows no issues ...no codes , and on the graph scale , nothing , all are the same .
as I said, I have a blip , while driving , accelerate and it is fairly clean , with a milliseconds blip .
any ideas where to go from here ?
