No one from Ford is going to listen to you on this forum.

There are some guys over on Bronco6g that have put the Coyote motor and a 7.3 in a Bronco. Forget working on it if something goes wrong without pulling the body off.

But honestly? I have a 2-door Sasquatch with the 2.7 and it will bark the rear tires, and it will pull the front tires about an inch off the ground if I brake torque it and have good traction. That's WAY more than enough power for such a small vehicle. And while I don't know what the quarter mile times are, I've surprised many hot rods who thought they were something at a stop light.

Turbos have been the replacement for displacement for over 100 years and this is our future in the petroleum world. The trade off is, you sacrifice some endurance in the gasoline segment.

I think the market and Ford have answered this as an unequivocal "NO".

And even that is somewhat up for debate, as a properly constructed engine, one designed and built for a turbo application, can and will last as long as a naturally aspirated engine. Now, do I trust most OEMs to do it properly? Absolutely not, especially when they consider the lifetime of a vehicle to be roughly 100k miles.

Yeah I mean the aftermarket has stepped up and started supplying a lot of aftermarket performance parts and tunes for both the 4-cyl and 6-cyl Broncos. But the reality is, for what the vehicle IS, you don't really need, or even really WANT, a big heavy V8 under the hood to do some pretty serious off-roading in these things. I mean if you're just wanting to go jump dunes, okay, but you're already likely starting off in a Raptor which is already hopped up pretty good.

Not to mention there just isn't much room under the hood of these Broncos. The V6 is pretty tight to work on.
