Year ago this time I paid nearly double if not mistaken.
you get the idash datamonster, the y cable in case you want to add another idash, the sd card , the cable to plug into your odb2 port, and a gaget that lets you read the sd card on a usb computer.
came with version 1.24 firmware
so I just replaced my 3rd idash which wasnt a data monster with the new datamonster.
that gives me 24 values to record data on at the same time
I think this is before I picked the PIDs I want to record
There are some default PIDs when you get it....which you can clear and pick "grab the 1st 100 PIDs". or you can individually pick the PIDs you want.
sampling rate us one thin I wish could be overriden , options right now is 10khz or 20khz, I could get by with a capture ever 15 seconds ....the file shows a capture every .1 seconds...yes..1 tenth of a second.
if you use a 16GB sd card, (options are 4gb to 16GB) I read somewhere that you could have a month of captures. every time you start your truck a new file is generated....named by vin+date+ other stuff.
Ill probably check the firmware update files to see if there is an INI file or something that would let me edit the capture rate.
