looking for info on replacement upper rear shock mounts for 2006 f-350diesel SRW.And why other year mounts won't work.Only 06-07 are interchageable

 

From what I can see in my catalogue, they went from a different left and right mount to a pair that are the same. I know Ford messed around with shock angle, length and placement many times over the years so that is my guess as to the change. It's possible a different year will work but you'd have to measure any differences so the shocks will remain the same length side to side. Ford offers no specs so that's something I cannot verify.

Thanks, I can only find one aftermarket supplier for 06-07.But several others for 99-05and08and up.Mine is the 4 bolt hole mount.
