heater problem...will not heat

I have heard it could be the heater control valve...not sure what this looks like or even where its located...under the dash or under the hood...It seems that the lines from the intake to the heater have no valves....so im just assuming its under the dash or in the climate control switch

just replaced mine on my f150, it was located under the dash in the center near the trim on the floor. my blend door was stuck on hot, but that could be your problem too, it could just be stuck on cold. let us know what type of vehicle you have and we can rule some things out for ya
