Wiring harness

Anyone know where I can get a full front to back harness for an 83-86 IDI truck? The wiring in my Bronco is ate up bad and she has been for off road use only on my property for nearly 9 years now. I would love to be able get her back on the road again. If your wondering why a harness for the IDI check my sig line lol.

You could get a Painless harness. I don't know if LMC Trucks has a complete wiring harness for our trucks.

I looked into the Painless option. They really don't cover things like the tach feed. Also want to keep the diesel dash intact.

Why not make your own? You should have the pattern with the OEM harness on hand.

Your going to have to look in junkyards, unless someone on here has one. Or like mentioned, make it yourself.

That is something that scares the living daylights out of me lol. I will attempt most things with no problem but wiring intimidates me..

Finding a harness in a wrecking yard is a good choice. If you decide to make your own then by all means avoid wires with soy based insulation. Rodents love to chew those more than dino oil based insulation.

One big problem with an OEM harness is the age. The insulation will be just as brittle as what you have. Many harnesses will have been owner modified by now also.
I typed in who builds wiring harnesses for Ford products out of the 80's and several companies came back. For the price they are asking I think I would build my own.
