For anyone interested in a taillight that looks better than any LED/nonLED option out there, Morimoto came out 3 days ago with couple of option (red or smoked) for all 2023+ Ford Super Duty trucks.
Check them out. Cheaper than buying the Platinum/Limited LED taillights and none of the headache. Mine will be here sometime next week. I will post updates with pictures for the smoked option...
I am not a fan of the design personally. But options are nice for people that want the brightness and speed of illumination safety aspects of LED on lower trims.
I do wish that Ford did not lock away the LED taillights behind the Platinum badge where it used to be available down to the Lariat. I had LED tails on my previous 2016 RAM 2500 Laramie. It is ridiculous that you can only get the safer brake lighting and the projector headlights with auto leveling on a Platinum.
