>Damn nice looking lights!!!! Ouch on the price
>
Also those lights have to have a few mods to make them fit (at least on the first production) and Jerry over at GOS takes care of that for you.
The headlights are cool but spendy, the clear corners I picked up at evilbay for $15 so look around you might find them a bit cheaper!
Looks like they clear corners are also the same manufacturer....
I talked to Jerry yesterday and put my name on the waiting list (their back-ordered). Their a little pricey, but they'll match the clear corners a lot better and they do have fog's built in.
The wiring harness that comes with the APC Project`s is to short, you will have to lengthen the wirers or make your own harness.
Got my set off of Ebay for $256.00 and the Diamond clear corners for$35.
The install took about 4 hours. Had a brush guard to remove and harness to make and problem removing the stock head lights, broke the clips.
Hints: 1) To remove the clips, grab the clips with a pair of pliers, pull up and move right and left. If you brake it ,go to a body shop near you. they probably have some laying around. Ford want`s $3 to $5 apiece.
2) Seal the seams on the housings with silicone. Talk of leaking. I havn`t had any.
3) Wear a mask while triming the support. It`s fiberglass. I used a pencile grinder to cut mine. Might be able to use a Roto Zip.
4) To remove the stock housings lower mounts, grab a boxed end 9/16" wrench and slip it over the clips on the back of the support wall, should slide right out.
5) If you are going to change the bulbs ( Silver Stars, ect.) do it now, before you put in the new housings.
6) While your at it, get the SUV harness and install. Big inprovement.
Hope this helps.
