2010 5.4 triton code P0340
I recently got a 2010 f150 with the 5.4 3v, my first one (156,000 miles). It had a broken timing chain guide so I decided to do a full timing job on it as well as the Melling 340HV oil pump. Got everything back together today (I believe correctly and timed good) and it started right up, but seems to be idling a bit rough and is throwing a p0340 code. When I torqued down the passenger side cam phaser I think the tone ring on it may have moved a little. Not sure why it did, but I didn't think anything of it (I know, kind of stupid on my part). Would this cause the engine code mentioned above (and a similar one I can't remember exactly, p0345 maybe?) and how do I fix it? Can I just spin the tone ring back into alignment, do I have to buy a new phaser again, can I fix it without any more parts? Used all motorcraft parts for the timing job and would like to avoid purchasing any more if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated 😄
