I bought this 2012 F250 2 months ago and am thrilled at how much more of a truck this is compared to my previous base truck (2011 chevy 1500 WT v6 2wd) that was totaled in June. However, I made mistakes while purchasing and am struggling to get it running properly. It is a 6.2V8, only 2x4 (unfortunately), missing the last half of the exhaust (after the first resonator). In the picture below, I had replaced the tires, painted the rims, and added LED headlight assemblies. I also replaced the differential fluid, transmission fluid, coolant, engine oil, changed the spark plugs with wires and coil boots, replaced a window crank, fixed an a/c drain to prevent water in the passenger door area, replaced the oil pressure sensor, fixed an evap leak (broken vent tube for the gas filler tube), and fixed the right front blinker (due to a switched wire a connector to the bcm) and rear parking lights (broken wire). Currently, it has no defrost even after replacing the blend door actuator and hvac module, no reverse lights, and has electrical issues causing all the error lights to go off on the instrument panel, then the instrument panel to cut off while driving.
I wasn't anticipating all of these problems, but once I can get these remaining items fixed, I will be really happy with the truck. This forum has already been helpful with the items mentioned above. Wish me luck!!
