M5od-r2 trying to bleed it. I've blead using the bleeder valve and I've also seen bleeding using vaccum at the master cylinder. I've applied vaccum and i get constant air bubbles and I've had it there for a few hours. It's the hand pump vacuum and I had it around 25. Since there is constant bubbles does that mean that air is getting in somewhere or do I need to leave it on longer? Pedal depressed I get no bubbles, pedal out is where I get them. It's drivable but it's only about half pedal of clutch. If it's sucking air in, where could it come from? It's a new mc, line, and slave cyl.
There are a ton of threads on multiple sites about bleeding those clutches. It's the worst engineered system I have ever seen with any manufacturer that I have seen in 40 years of wrenching.
My only tip is have the complete system out of the car. Rig up something that you can hold the assembly [fully hooked up] with the reservoir high and the slave cylinder hanging down. Try to bleed it that way. Tap the lines and parts to 'shake' the bubbles to the reservoir. Good luck installing
My understanding is that you can buy them pre-bled.
Just pump the pedal about 100 times
They self bleed
I've been bleeding them that way since they came out in 87 or so
Works just fine, no need to buy pre bled anything ever
I don't even mess with the bleed screw much anymore, just a quick gravity bleed and on to pumping the pedal
If the air bubble is between the master and slave, how can that air pass without bleeding?
That system is not self bleeding, just like brakes are not self bleeding.
No, that does not mean what you are doing is not fixing the problem. I just know, I will never take on a Ford clutch ever again because I lost thousands of dollars on the last one.

It self-bleeds by depressing the pedal over and over
Each time you pump the pedal, one air bubble comes up and out
Wish I was around when you got done with the clutch you lost your **** on
I could have made that bleed procedure look easy and your dough would have been forthcoming
