A chilly 39 to start the day. Yes, leaves are falling, Charlie. We have one in the front yard that turns color early.
Rained Sat, Ken. So only 1/2 a weekend. Mowed Friday and Sunday the grass had grown 2-3 inches in many areas.
More foundation work today. It's only money....
Afternoon everyone and I hope that you had a good weekend. Had some areas south of me in the hills that had lows down into the low to mid 40's this morning and it was right around 50* at home. It is only going to top out in the mid/upper 60's but sunny.
A little bleary eyed this morning due to staying up to watch Sunday Night Football. Buffalo came from a 15 point deficit to win with a time running out 32 yard field goal by 1 point over Baltimore. The kicker just came to Buffalo on the red eye on Thursday morning and is 41 years old.

Evening guys. Mowed all the lawns yesterday. Pretty long on places. All the honeybees are on the golden rod now! Pointed up the base of the chimney for the back room. It's a block chimney but is covered with round field stones. I put water seal on the mortar, and it seems to hold up decent. I put it up over 35 years ago. I don't think I would want to haul chimney blocks at this stage of life.
TRUTH!! happy wife happy life, and i won't deny that, 51 years together . making it OURS has been a tad costly but worth every penny, they can't build around us more than what is here, it's all state park lands or preserved farm, mother nature gets a bit noisy at times ,but heck it's about as country as anyone can get in jersey
