Differential gear oil for 2016 F-150 Auto w/4x4

New to the F-150 scene. Just purchased a 2016 King Ranch 4x4. Specs say to use a "Gear Oil that meets Ford's WSS-M2C942-A spec".
Anyone have a suggestion for an equivalent that won't kill the bank?
Front and rear takes 9 pints, so I don't want to pay $30 a quart for Ford's label.

Thanks in advnace.

Can't help you on non Motorcraft but remember front and rear use different weights.

This is for the 2015 models, I'm sure 2016 is the same

My documentation (Haynes manual) shows that in 2016 and later, the front and rear use the same weight. It shows what you posted for the 2015.

Thanks for the posted info.

Ford has their own weight of 75W-85 but you can use pretty much any 75w-90 that is sold. Same weight in both front and rear and unlike the older models you do not need to add any friction modifier elocker or not.

If you want to be cheap buy some valvoline 75w-90 should run you around $16 a quart
If you go OEM motorcraft 75w-85 then its like $32 a quart and even your local dealer who hooks it up won't be able to since they don't have any margin in the fluids.
