Hey was curious if anyone knows how difficult it is to replace this panel on the dash of a 2017 Lariat? I found a replacement part number, but don’t want to start prying until I know what’s involved in replacing? It’s got a weird bump on the driver side that I can see now whenever I’m driving.
Any tips would be great! Thanks!
My 17 has a similar issue, it got to where I really don’t notice it. Way more disassembly than I want to do just for that. I think it’s fairly involved I recall a thread about doing it on the KRs.
if your talking about the dash panel that covers the top of the speedo, you can replace it by just removing the speedometer, it has 3 bolts on each side and a bunch of clips, 4 of the bolts are easy to reac... the top ones can be a pain but not impossible, remove the bolts and pull toward you not up and it will pop out.

Thats the one I’m talking about. I’ll try and look around for some speedo removal instructions and go from there. Thanks!
