New From FL
My background is I’m coming from a ‘01 ccsb F350 psd with ~400k miles to a ‘24 cclb psd. I was a tech for a few years before I took a different life path. So I’ve done everything from maintenance to turbo pedestals on the 7.3. The 6.7 is new territory for me.
Haven’t always been a Ford guy but the 7.3 earned my loyalty. 2 quick stories for ya.. I had an idler pulley pop off the 7.3 on a highway trip and only realized it on the return trip because a lack of power. The belt had gone several hundred miles riding on the bearing for the pulley (probably would’ve got me home too but I was fortunate enough to have taken an exit with an Autozone right there). And 2, with a bad battery and a bad alternator, the 7.3 never failed to start and get me to where I needed to go. Needless to say I was blown away at that workhorse so I’ll stick w Ford.
Cheers
