Signature edit
I'm trying to edit my signature. I simply want it to say 2023 F350 XLT Premium Tremor 7.3
I'm thwarted at every attempt. How can this signature be too long? Even splitting it into 2 lines fails.

I had the same problem when I changed trucks and wanted to edit my signature. It misleads you into thinking that the lines themselves are too long. As I remember, that's not it. Instead the "too long" must mean too many lines...even though only 2 lines are showing, and other users have 4 or so. It's like there are blank/"ghost" lines entered. If I remember correctly, I cleared out my entry so no signature was showing, saved it and backed out of the signature edit feature. Then I went back into edit, typed in what I wanted and it saved properly.

Are you by any chance using a mobile device (smartphone). I just recently received assistance from an Administrator, and was told signatures can’t be edited via a mobile device…… only a laptop.

As caribou stated it seems like other users have a lot more signature info than I'm trying to show. And it does indeed seem like there are 2 "ghost" lines above where I begin. I've deleted and started over. In the past that's worked a time or two but no luck currently.

I popped in the signature that you said you wanted in Post #1 of this thread.
If you want to change it again, or learn how to, using your User Control Panel / Settings & Options / Edit Signature link, feel free to PM me directly.
However, you can also post any questions or issues in this thread, and that way others may learn too.
What a fellow member wrote earlier in this thread is true... there are a limited number of signature lines allowed, and each carriage return (each pressing of the Enter key within the text edit window) counts as a signature line. So clearing the entire text edit window can clear all of the ghost carriage returns from prior presses of the Enter key.
