I'm doing a complete frontend rebuild on my '92 F150 RWD and can't get the boots on the upper balljoints to seat. The uppers are AC Delco and the boot ring is solid. It has absolutely no stretch in it. Is it supposed to sit like this? I had a shop press the joints into the knuckle.
Had time so I monkied around with it again tonight. Boiling the boots helped quite a bit. Still needed to get creative a little, but they're on now. Thanks.
