Trans swap

I have a 97 b2300 single cab 4 cylinder just curious not that I'm needing to but how hard would it be to go from an automatic to a standard as in the kick down and putting in the pilot bearing in the back and stuff like that. What is it fully consist of. Thanks

Grab a salvage truck with a 5-speed manual and gut it for what you need? You’d preferably want the manual trans engine computer and I believe the harness has differences as well.

Installing the clutch pedal and the clutch hydraulics would probably be the most difficult part.
