Floor Shift recomendations

Hi guys, I have a 56 with a C4 tranny, I would like to hear your thoughts and experiences on wich floor shift works best for the money. I would prefer to keep it as far forward as possible for when a passenger is sitting in the middle of the seat, also I am open to purchasing a good used one in case you guys have one to sell. Thanks alot.

Any quality aftermarket shifter with a cable instead of linkage will work good for you.
You can mount it anywhere the cable reaches,even on the dash,if you wish!

For the budget minded (cheap), check out the Aerostar minivan's floor shifter. It is cable operated and tall enough to reach without bending over. Look in 86-90? Aerostars.
