New to the forum and new owner of a '00 F-150 xlt v-6. Just trying to add a couple of easy accessories to the ride. How hard is it to replace the stock black antenna base to a chrome one? How do you remove it? Any help before I start prying and yanking at the thing would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ken

 

Hi Ken and welcome to the forum

I dont remember off hand how the antenna base is attached but I'm sure that you have to remove the wiper cowl to get at it. Remove the wiper arms and then a few screws and pushpins and the cowl panel comes off.
