07 6.0 low boost
Recently experienced a low boost issue. Max i could get was 14psi. Checked the usual suspects. EBP tube and sensor was full of junk. Thoroughly cleaned and reinstalled. No more low boost problem. Is there any kind of service interval for this item? Check and clean after so many miles time?

The quality of fuel is affecting you more than anything. You need to use a good fuel additive like Diesel Kleen, Stanadyne, or Archoil all in one that helps the fuel burn better. This is one reason why I recommend my customers only fill up at Exxon, QT, or Valero fuel stations, in that order. Exxon puts an additive package in their diesel that actually quiets down and smooths out an older 5.9 Cummins. I've noticed better fuel economy and power running their fuel alone without an additive. Only Exxon mobil does that.
