There were 2 factory versions, the aero fixture with a plastic outer lens and a glass 5x7 sealed beam with a trim ring to fill in the space around it. The H6054 sealed beams were useless... 35w pissholes in a snow bank, the aero fixtures were pretty good with LED bulbs or high output halogens with upgraded wireing with relays... the factory wire is so small there is a couple volts lost in the headlight circuitry and high power bulbs without relays eventually leads to a burnt out headlight switch. Aero lenses can be cleaned and polished to return transparency, if you replace them make sure to get OEM or DOT spec aftermarket housings, the cheap Amazon parts are a waste of money... the reflector lens has no focus so they are even more useless than fogged up lenses.
If you switch to sealed beams from aero headlights you will need to visit a junkyard to get the trim pieces and mounting buckets, those parts don't exist in the aftermarket and are needed to mount the headlights in the vehicle.

I was going to do this swap. Prepare for possible part price shock. I found all the parts needed in a yard, disassembled the whole thing and brought the pile to the checkout desk. They wanted something like $75 for a pile of scratched, rusted out old junk parts. I left them there and gave up on the project. Maybe your yard will give you a better deal. Good luck!
