Help With poor running 351

I have been having this problem with it (92 f150 351) running rough and idoling bad when it gets warmed up. It does not do it at all when cold. I have run the codes and it never had a current fault code (both key on and engine running) but in the memory it had the EGR position sensor circuit below minimum Voltage and EGR closed Voltage higher than expected. SO I replaced the sensor, cleared the codes and it ran the same but got rid of the sensor code but still had the EGR voltage code. Some one suggested replacing the EGR valve and I just got done doing that and I cleared the codes again and it still runs the same, no difference at all. But it did get rid of the EGR voltage code. Yet the truck still idols rough and hestates on take off. I dont know what else to check, I am completly out of ideas, please pass on any suggestions.
PS I dont know if it is of any importance, but when running it durring the test it runs good and is smooth.

You said you replaced the sensors not the valve, did you replace the sensor or the vavle, or both?

I first replaced the sensor and then the valve its self. It no longer shows any codes, even though the ones it did were in memory. THe only reason I replaced the valve is because some one said it may be letting gas leak past at idol. Any ideas what to check next?

leaky thermactor pipe, or crossover pipe perhaps,,,sounds kinda like what i have going on with my F-250 5.8
more of a nusance than anything else, it runs fine when not at idle i take it?

Yes, it runs really good and strong when not at idol or just when the rpms are up a little and lightly accelerating. What is a thermactor pipe? and where is it. Cross over piper you mean the the exuast pipe between the two exuast manifold? Thanks
