Yes the above pic is the dvr side and yes it is 12V switched power- aka (keyed power/key turned to the 1st position) (run) powered elec connection. There is another one behind the glove box area that is simular. 2 wire, to a black 3 hole plug constant 12V power. That is what powers the glove box light and then a splitter is used to come down and over to 1 wire power the cig lighter, leaving 2 holes open.

1979 Bronco a/c equipped and that is the same as above 12V constant power. It has enough to get down from behind and below the dash. This below was with the a/c evap box removed. Would be hard to without removing the glove box liner.
