I need to get a rough idea on the empty weight of my truck. It's a 1977 F-250, long bed, 4 wheel drive, manual trans. Any idea what it might weigh? I don't have the truck here right now and I need to come up with a rough idea of the weight so I can figure out if I can tow it on my trailer. John

I forgot to mention that the engine is a 300.

 

i was at the dump last week, and i was 4502 after i dumped my load, and a 1/4 tank of gas(about 6 gallons) i have a manul trans and a stroked 302, which weighs about the same as a 300 six. mine is also a long bed, and 4 wheel drive with 35's. hope this helps

 

my 76 f250 4x4 is a little over 5250 with 35's on alum wheels and a winch so your looking at 5000 + with your 77

 

My '75 F250 4x4 390 Np435 weighed #6280 with a tool box and a front bumper that weighed ~#200.
