What is this plate??

Can anyone help identify this plate? No mounting holes...
Google Lens said it was part of the headlight bucket...I don't see how.

Transmission weather plate I call it. For floor shifters- the HD 3spd or 4spd crash box tranny. It has a rubber gasket that goes on it as well.

I believe there should be some roughly 4x8x1 foam that acts as a buffer of sorts in the mix. A Ford part number 7C-8112130

The plate goes on top of the transmission and the foam is sandwiched between it and the trans cover.

OK...I think I got it. Thank you...that was not intuitive at all...LOL.
Looks like the bent flange on the plate goes on the aft edge of the transmission, then the seal. THEN...you bolt down the big cover in the cab and that squishes the seal to prevent air/water/etc from getting up around the shifter.
