Hub Squeal

Well I engaged my ESOF on my 2002 SD this morning to get out of mother nature's little surprise and I now have a squeek coming from the drivers side hub while driving in 4X4. When it is dissengaged it will stop with in a few hundred feet. I tried the manual overide feature on the hub and there was no improvement. Any input regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated since I get the ******* when the thought of bringing my truck to the dealer arrises.

I had an squeek like that a year ago, and it went away as soon as I took it to the dealer

It hasn't made it again in 1 1/2 years..go figure

Hub Squeal

The hubs on the SuperDuty aren't vacuum-pulse operated like they are on my Ranger by chance are they?? Because I have an identical problem and haven't gotten it solved yet, but was told it was dirt in the dust shields causing the squeak. I don't know, I haven't taken mine apart yet to inspect it because it's a tough job and the problem isn't serious yet.
