Diff. oil recommendations
1975 F250, Dana 44 4:10's, any recommendations for front diff oil please ?

I replaced front and back with Valvoline 80w90. I have a dana 44hd front and dana 60 rear. You will get a lot of suggestions btw. I think gear oils now-a-days are pretty good across the board.

x2 on 80-90... I like the purple stuff myself, but gears don't care about colour...

X3 80/90 gear oil, Lucas has a nice colored bottle. But all 80/90 stinks, so who cares what color the bottle is. The front or rear diff won't.
