TEST DRIVE NOISE
this may sound silly but was it in 4wd when you test drove it? my front end is solid as a rock but it makes a whine like straight cut gears at low speeds when the hubs are locked and the transfer case engaged - above 25 or so it blends in with the rest of the noises the truck makes so it's inperceptible. Just wondering....
