Nuts. And bolts are designed for the application
nylon lock nuts are fantastic in the design use
Friction nuts as well and will not vibrate loose
Those cheap lock nuts work good to on frames
If your frame vibrates to those frequencies
You have more serious issues
But having secure nuts and bolts are the utmost importance

Thanks
I bought steel lock nuts for the clamps when I installed my SPE CAC hot pipe... didn't trust the nylon lock nuts that came on the clamps that SPE provided and because those back clamps are not the easiest to get to, well, there ya go...
I haven't used them so I can't report on how well they work but in that video, they didn't have much pressure on that jam-nut demonstration. If you want a jam-nut to work, you gotta have some pressure on it. I never had one work loose.
my engine oil pan, trans pan, front and rear gear box cover bolts are always getting loose so I plan to install wedge washers on all of them...as well as the pan head allen scews spe provided for the spe cat oil filter head...and any other aftermarket install I did that used pan head allen bolts.
