Strange Issue
Last Thursday I was on my way out of town when about two miles from hitting the interstate I get three consecutive dash warnings and the truck goes into limp mode (no power when I pressed the accelerator). I pulled off the road and when I stopped the truck felt like it was idling rough, put it in Park and nothing changed so I shut down the engine. Waited a few minutes and started back up again. The engine cranked an unusually long time, but once it started everything seemed normal again. No dash lights or warnings and a normal, buttery smooth idle. I drove to the nearest truck stop, a couple times on the way there it felt like the transmission was slipping (little bucks and jolts) but no lights or limp mode. A quick visual inspection at the truck stop didn't give me a clue (no fluids where they shouldn't be, nothing obviously wrong with the drive train). I didn't want to have a repeat of the experience while going 85 MPH down the interstate or on the uphill side of a mountain pass so I decided to go home and swap rigs for the trip. The local Ford dealership where I bought the truck new 10 years ago is on the way so I stopped in and asked them to read codes. Halfway there I had the whole thing happen again (took the pictures while pulled over before shutting off the engine). The Ford tech found three codes dealing with the ABS and AdvanceTrack systems but nothing was stored related to the loss of power so he was stumped on that.
I have a service appointment in August (yes, they are that far out) but thought I'd check with the FTE brain trust to see if anyone has experienced the same thing and how bad this might hurt the bank account!
Also, how many miles, and when were the plugs changed. The plugs in these engines are really only goof for 50k miles.
I changed the plugs about 2K miles ago, right at 150,000. Did the boots at the same time, with dielectric grease. Plugs were tightened to the specified torque.

Drove it around doing some chores a couple nights ago without issue. I'll save any long road trips for after the problem is fixed, but for now it seems to be an intermittent problem.
Thanks for all the responses!
IIRC, it's called zeroing out the steering wheel or something of that nature.
Some scanners can do that for you.
Never helped.
