Clapping sound???

Hey everyone, my 92 4.9 is making a strange sound only opon acceleration wail in gear, Im new to the 4.9 and much other macanical stuff. So i got no clue, ill add video. What do you think it is?https://photos.app.goo.gl/6QtnBNCs55UtibHi7

4.9's usually last forever with ZERO issues
I did hear a slight knock in the video
Try to narrow that down to a cylinder by pulling spark plug wires and seeing if the knock changes
Might be okay, might be normal
What weight oil are you using?
I'd only use 10/30 in that motor
Maybe visit a Ford dealer for the next oil change and see if they say anything about engine noise (ask them to check it)
I'd maybe pull the valve cover if I was convinced the noise was in there
They do get stuck valves once in a while from sitting and they do bend pushrods due to that sometimes
Run it with the valve cover off for long enough to watch all the push rods and valves rotate

Exhaust leak - cracked manifold, pipe or bad gaskets.
You should be able to spot it by seeing black soot at the leak.

I got down to the manifolds and found one cracked on a arm and at some point it spit out the gasket between it and the block. Its all fixed now thanks alot. Now i can hear everything else wrong with my truck lol.
