Rod Interchangeability

Hello all -

I'm working through a 460 out of my '78. The machine shop currently has most of it. He found one bent rod, so I ordered a replacement. All the rods in the truck are the D6VE-AA rods, the replacement that came is a D0OE-A. I'm guessing I shouldn't just throw one different rod in the engine? It is out of a 460 and would fit, but I figured I'd check before I jump through all the hoops of eBay return madness.

Thanks!

Dimensions and weight? If the same, use it.

It shouldn't really matter. The older rods are different forgings and they have a straight cut vs a spot faced area for the bolt head. This really makes zero difference in strength. I'd use it.
