Try searching for rivet nuts.

Here is a kit in Amazon, there are cheaper ones this was one of the first to pop up.

For anything bigger fastener wise you'll need to go to huck style, but the install tool is spendy for them.

still have to install the traction bars

after extensive research decided against welding

not sure if I want to use the bolt sets that are included in the kit....they all have to be fished thru using the nearest drain hole....or use boxbolts like the first boxbolt I posted a pic of....not sure what the clamping force is of the box bolt....I read some FAQ's to the producers of boxbolts concerning clamping force and the manufacture responded with contact us to get our help on determining how you can test clamping force. which to me means there is **** poor clamping force especially joint gets repeated shear loads like a traction bar mount vs two beams inside a building that doesn't really get tugged and pulled.

the rivet type seem to get loose frequently since there are published replacement proceedures...guess they get loose over time.

so it looks like I will be fishing bolts thru the frame.

Yeah I'm no expert in this stuff but yeah, I agree with fishing grade 8 bolts through the frame...

I do it all the time
The hard part is getting socket on the bolt head
I have dropped a few sockets inside the frame
Fished out with magnet
Are your bolt heads with a captive bit to stop the spin simular to the factory stuff
what size are bolts?

They give you piano wire and demo the process on a c-frame, but my frame is boxed.

i need to put 4 sets per mount and I can put the mount 2 feet from a 3/4 square hole.

The torque for the box bolts 3/8 dia shank seems to be the same as required for the supplied bolts….pondering

Let me get this straight, you somehow believe you know/are gonna find something wrong with the people that started a business and created a product you are interested in buying ?

I just don't see a business staying open with products that unfinished in this day and age, if you can build a better product then maybe start selling them?
