Issues with running
Hi, I'm new to the forum but I'm having issues keeping my truck running after replacing gaskets for the upper and lower intake. I've checked my connections, spark plugs, and the coil pack, and while with ether it will start and if I give it gas it'll stay running. But as soon as I let off it dies again, and it doesn't shake like I've got the spark plugs mixed up. Wondering if anyone is able to help, thanks in advance.

Make sure the idle air control valve (IACV) is plugged in.

If you have power brakes, check the large vacuum line to the booster, and the booster itself if this has been a prior problem. A large vacuum leak can cause stalling. If the booster has a bad valve or diaphragm, it can allow excessive air into the intake manifold, leaning out the mix.
