Hi everyone, I recently bought 92 f250 custom with the 300 160k miles for cheap, I know simple things about engines but its more of a new world to me. This puppy has oil leaks in a ton of places but mainly the oil pan gasket. I pulled the plugs on it and they look ok ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but the 6th one next to the transmission side had oil all over it. How cooked am I and What should i do next? Imma add a pic all the others look like and the 6th one. Thanks
The sixth plug has oil only on the threads so my guess is that you also have a valve cover leak over that area and the threads got covered in oil as you were extracting the plug. The electrode (Sparky part) looks the same as the other five so your engine is apparently firing equally on all six. Fix the oil leaks and drive it for another 160K.
The white part, (#2), is supposed to have a "hot chocolate" look to it.
They all look good.
Oil has been leaking from above and staining the outside of #6 plug.
Post the spark plug part number, others will give there brand / part number personal choice. Everyone has a favorite spark plug manufacturer.

Sweet- thanks for the replys. That helps out a lot, it think it has Autolite Double Platinum Spark Plug - APP5125 in it.
If you put plug in it I would not go for them fancy big $$ plug as some have had problems running them.
Maybe not right a way and why it is hard to believe it could be the plugs.
The factory put copper plug in it and that is when I would stick back in it.
You may have to check that is what they are pulling off the shelf as I had the guy looking for them fancy plug for my 81 F100 with a 300 and had to tell him copper plugs.
Besides they are less money.
