Rotary Ranger

I have a 94 Ranger. It is currently powered by a 2.3L four-banger. A friend of mine thinks we can swap a Mazda RX-7 Turbo II motor into it with only minor complications. I can fabricate all the motor mounts, and the motor has the wiring harness and computer. The transmission in the truck is a mazda already, but I dont know if it will work. Has anyone ever heard of this being done before?

Never heard of this before but sounds interesting. anythng is possible if your willing to do the custom fabrication.

Why not take the trans too? Include the front driveshaft yoke in case you need to have a driveshaft made up.
