P0420 code

I was wondering what all I should be looking at to help diagnose how screwed I might be after this code popped up. I need to do an oil change and wouldn't hurt to swap out the engine air filter too, so was wondering if those may fix the issue. Haven't cleared the code to see if it will pop back up again or not as I just checked the code half an hour ago.

Oil change and filter won't have any effect on the measured lack of performance of the converter. Do them anyway, though.
