I have a 2015 f150 lx, I live out in the boondocks and my headlights suck. They are halogen originals. I've deoxidized and polished my headlight covers and they are near perfect, didn't make a noticeable difference. My priorities are bright light, durability, and reasonable cost.
I'm looking as Lasfit LS and Sealight X2, but I'm not wedded to them. I've also read that LED conversions can have fitment problems, I'm not looking for more problems.
Finally, the tech specs combined with ranges of options are very confusing. I figure this forum is the right place to ask for help. If you have recommendations, tips, war stories, I would appreciate them. Thanks.
I replaced the fog lights with Morimoto assemblies. They completely replaced the OEM assembly and project a flat/wide beam. I didn't like the white color, so I spray-painted clear amber over the glass.
You have to be very careful with the bulb orientation to make sure the "filaments" line up correctly.

I just did this. I bought new OEM housings, because my old ones were pitted, and one was cloudy inside. I put all new Diode Dynamics SL2 Pro LED bulbs in them, high, low, signal and running lights. Then I replaced the factory fog lights with something more meaningful, Diode Dynamic SS3s. Now I can see at night. It took a few tries to get the lights adjusted just right, so I don't get flashed. The OEM headlight housings do very well with a quality LED bulb designed to be a direct replacement for the factory spec halogen bulb. Universal, adjustable bulbs are far more difficult to dial in, if ti can be done at all.
The SS3 Pro SAE rated LED fog lights illuminate the edges of the road nicely, and make a big difference while driving in rural areas at night.
