6.7 miles

Hey guys, just wondering how many miles you guys have on your 6.7s and what you have had to do to the motors, if anything.

2019 with 27806 miles. Bought new.

I did stuff just for the heck of it…didn’t have to.

Bought new at end of December 2016... just about at 140k miles and still stock. Bought the full extended 7 year or 125k mile warranty with truck.

1) DEF heater replaced under warranty at 66k miles

2) EGR cooler core (just started to clog and was one of the cleanest the truck service manager had seen he said) at 117k miles just before warranty was up... I made sure to remove the new titanium bolts on the EGR feed on the passenger side exhaust manifold that they replaced afterwards and loaded them up with Nickel Never Seize and also chased the bolt holes so I'll be ready for the next one.

3) both rear springs replaced because one of the leafs cracked

4) at least a few sets of the garbage Ford locking hubs that use vacuum to lock up in AUTO but I probably have a vaccum issue somewhere so now I keep them lubed with Planet Safe Lubricant's AiM lube by spraying at the dial/hub interface -- they have to be turned often or else they will lock up, I just lock them in when I need 4WD. I will replace them with a Warn set for the Super Duty. You lose vacuum AUTO feature but so what?

5) Both sets of BJs and the bearing units that they replace because they destroy it when they pull it to R&R the ball joints

6) Driver's side tie rod... but the passenger side tie rod and drag link end were recently replaced at my buddy's shop...

7) I remember a windshield wiper transmission, if that's the correct term for it, under the cowl trim that drives the wipers was replaced under warranty because a dealer screwed something up... they forgot to put a bolt in there...

Everything listed was under warranty, except the passenger side front steering linkage work at my buddy's shop.

The DPF is still original. The truck currently has a P20E8 code which is reductant pressure too low. Bought the DEF pump and the heater (sending unit), Bosch OEM, at a great price with free shipping... gotta watch a few more vids, take a few notes and I'll do the job when I'm on vacation again soon... does not affect truck power at all... no limp mode.

When the DEF heater went out, the truck operated in reduced power and would not remote start.

The first mod to my truck was a Rudy's cold CAC pipe pretty early on in the truck's life.

I installed a S&B intake in my truck. I run a Banks Derringer tuner and Pedal Monster with two Banks original (not the iDash Pros) iDash units to monitor the PIDs I want to (Parameter IDs).

I installed a Filtration Solutions FS2500 oil bypass filter pretty early on in my truck's life, and now running the spin on conversion kit.

I installed a S&S DPK Gen 2 with SNAPP filter in July 2023.

I also installed a Mishimoto oil catch kit but recently replaced their can with a Improved Racing CCR catch can.

Have had a few other codes along the way, posted a thread on this but cannot remember exactly what they were (the boost gauge stuck full open)...

Other than that, my truck has been solid. My drive to work is 18 miles one way, I live in the hills south of Buffalo so I complete my regens on the expressway I drive into/from work, and usually get at least 400 miles to 450, at times can get close to 500, then sometimes less with more stop and go driving locally)... the terrain keeps my emissions happy and working.

Any questions, just ask...

2012 with 308,000 miles. Motor still purrs like it did when new. Fuel economy is essentially the same and doesn't burn any oil.

Replaced:
EGR valve and rebuilt EGR cooler with new core at around 290,000 miles. (Motor repair)
Replaced thermostat housing and thermostats and upper rad hose earlier this year. (Motor repair)
Replaced EGT sensors on exhaust system between 150k - 275k miles. (Exhaust system repair)
Replaced DEF heater/pump assembly earlier this year. (Exhaust system repair)

Truck still puts a big on my face. By far the best truck I've owned to date.

2022 and ~78,000 miles. Replaced fuel pressure sensor about 1,000 miles ago. Windshield starting leaking a few months ago. I sealed it up with some white Dycor non-leveling sealant. I talked to a Ford body tech and he explained how common that is on these trucks. I went back and tipped him $20. Other than that, it's been oil, fuel and drain the water separator occasionally. Never any water.

2019 with as of this morning 136,621 miles on it (roughly 5200 hours), only engine related repair to date has been the cold side CAC tube. Knock on wood. The idler pully on my serp belt is toast so I need to replace that and the belt but I probably won't get a chance to do that until I get back from NC next week.

2019 with 104,100 miles - upper oil pan leak repaired twice, no other powertrain issues.

Non-powertrain issues: BCM replaced/reprogrammed, steering wheel buttons replaced, intermediate steering shaft repaired, both front door stops replaced, and a few other things

Powertrain things I've done proactively/voluntarily: EGR/DPF/CCV all gone. Engine purrs like a kitten now and oil on the dipstick stays honey colored surprisingly long time. Fuel system protected with a S&S DPK.

2019 with 15,000 miles bought used November '24. I changed the oil in it and added a retrax tonneau cover. It will go on a diet soon though, it's about off of warranty. GPCM did go bad and threw a DEF code so the stealership replaced DEF pump and GPCM when all was said and done. So far, I'm happy with it.

2017 F350 with 187,000 miles. I bought used in 2021 with 135k at that time. I do oil and filters, I've replaced batteries and tires. A coolant line to the turbo split while I was in Nevada on April first. I spent a day and $1000 at the Ford dealership there and put another couple thousand miles on it before I got back home. This is not my daily driver, I use it when I need it. Still stock from bumper to bumper.

2021 with 33,102 miles, outside of a computer update to fix a DEF related CEL no issues, half of the miles are from pulling 37' fifth wheel. Synthetic oil since 1500 miles, all ford filters and fuel filters every 10k. She consumes 20% Bio Diesel in the warmer months. Use Optilube XPD religously.
