The cast roller cam in my F4TE block has a 4062Z4 number stamped on the end. Also has EP, CWC F5 cast in between the lobes. Does this mean anything to anyone? I bought the motor mostly sight unseen, helping out a yard sale event.
Do you have a micrometer? If so measure a couple lobes subtracing the base circle from the lobe peak to determine the actual lift produced. The truck cam has 0.264" lift intake 0.280" lift exhaust.
EP means Engine Power. It is one of their SADI cast cores that could have been used for many different grinds but if the number on the back correlates with a grind from the Wolverine catalog then that's probably what it is. Plotting the lift between centers in a lathe or even in the engine block would be an easy way to see if it matches the Wolverine specs.
