I had a pull switch on the dash of my 55 F350 that I didn't know what it was for. I followed the wires and it went to the rear of the bed. I put a light there for backing up at night. The original owners had an orchard. I'm thinking it may have been used for providing a light to pick fruit at dark.... or not.
