Trouble finding EVAP Hose

(1997 F-150 4.2L V6) I need help finding a hose that goes to the EVAP Purge Valve and comes from the Intake Manifold I can't seem to find it anywhere online so I'm hoping coming here can help me find this hose there are no readable numbers on it because how dry-rotted it is worse that can happen is cutting the hose off the connecter end and replacing it with gas line

Nothing wrong with basic fuel/emission hose from your auto store. Mine just vents to atmosphere now. Ha.

The Ford EVAP hoses on my '97 Econoline are a special construction. The core is some type of plastic surrounded by protective rubber. Like yours, the rubber becomes brittle and turns your hands black if you touch it. But the plastic liner is typically in good shape and carries the low pressure vapors without any leaks. I searched for the Ford EVAP hose without success. Low pressure fuel line works.

Truck is nearly 30 years old, parts dry up and almost all I see are 5.4s with some 4.6s.

Just use bulk hose and get down the road.
