My wife bought a 59 F100. The previous owner removed the radio and cut the dash for a new one but never replaced it. She wants a retro looking one with Bluetooth but I can’t find one with the right dimensions. Looks like it’s 4-1/8 wide by 1-5/8 tall. Most retro ones I’ve seen are 4x2. Any ideas?
Seems it would be best to weld it back up and cut what you need but if that isn't possible, you could go with a flat piece bigger than the hole say maybe 2x8 inches and use panel adhesive. It would also be secured with the new radio stem jamb nuts under the *****. Sounds kind of hokey but I have seen similar fixes in other vehicles where folks couldn't weld.
