If It's June, Must Be BS Thread

Yeah it's late again. Things like life always make doing stuff on time weird.

Welcome visitors to the monthly Mississippi Chapter BS Thread... where we mostly discuss the vagaries of our weather.
If you are a MS Ford truck (any year, vintage) owner, please say hello & especially if you are interested in having the coveted chapter membership added to your FTE status.
If you're in a neighboring state/region or just like us, please feel free to join in & post.

We love projects. We love pictures of projects. If you know of a automotive event close by that may have slipped our notice, please tell us about it.
If you're out & about in the state, say where & when & we can do IRL for a cup of coffee or cool beverage. If you need advice/info/helping hand, speak up & we'll give it a shot.

Nice to have a wet weather breather. Wish we could ship our excess water north to our friend John in Maple Leaf Land.

Was watching some weather vids on the 25 Atlantic Hurricane season. Very scary.

Keeping the Jungle from taking over is tough right now.

The Mustang pro-ject is moving along. My hack floor repair might just be not bad.

Stay safe all.

This is possibly the least successful thread I've started at FTE ...

Thomas & I did a rear axle swap that was an adventure, but success.

Bout' killed us both...

The 73 Flintstone special makes progress, I'm boning up on the art of C4 rebuilding.

After I get 20 lbs of baked oil mud off it.

Y'all have a good one.

Hello David..thought I'd pop in to break the silence...lol
I have a perfectly good C6 that I took out of the pickup when I decided to put in the AOD. It worked fine but the 3.73 rear end gearing revved the hell out of the engine ..

If it eventually runs & moves, I might just go shopping for an AOD.

It's a 100% bolt in with no changes to mounts or drive shaft.

Just got to come up with throttle valve actuation.

Hey Guys, Just when I thought my projects were taking a break, I have another one. My youngest stepson purchased a 94 F150 (farm truck) that looks like it has been untouched since purchase and not in a good way. It was heavily used. Going to need a LOT of work. This is his first Ford, He is 30, and He told me my trucks were his deciding factor. While proud, its a real pos! Guess $1200 doesnt go as far as it used too. Going to be a adventure.

My 302 is locked & I've pulled the trans out & left the TC on the flex plate.

Soaking pistons & heat haven't touched whatever corrosion holds it.

Making a plate to bolt to the damper & looking for the biggest nut in my shop to weld to it.

Don't really want to break damper bolt off or pull pan & drop rod caps.

I get the engine out & I can advance with the floor repairs.

Pulled the plug & no oil.

Hmmmm, must have drained it when garaged.

Surprise!
