Headers Too Hot!!!!!!!

I have a 1997 F-350 460 [7.5] liter V8 with B&M headers and a racing predetor 8-71 supercharger and veryous other parts the trucks lifted 8-inches and has 44 boggers so it weighes considrabley alot. But my headers are now glowing red hot. me and my friends noticed this the other night when we were out doing late night mudding and hill climbing when one of my friends caught my headers glowing under my hood so i skided to a stop and got out the heat was so hot it was hard to stand to close to the truck my hood is a tilt forward so I tited it forward and saw that my heders wer that hot i got back in my truck to look at my engin heat gauge and it was not overheated. we continud to wheel over the rest of the night and it showd me no trouble.

is this normal?

I belive the cam timing or ignition timing is late. sound a lot likt combustion is still happening while in the exh.

Since you have that 8-71 on top you might havt to richen it up.I know blower can be a bit of a bear to tune but once dialed in properly they should not glow.If you were sustaining alot of high rpm and mudding I can see this as being ok,I'm sure you were beating it pretty good.Still I would check you mixture.
