How would I diagnose this?
I have a 6.4 never had a issue starting and just recently I go to start it and it cranks runs for a second and dies or surges up and down like its about to die. If I step on the throttle while I start it it hesitates a bit then starts. So, once it runs for a few second runs fine.
My other issue is a very slight miss maybe I have had codes for cyl 5 contribution. I want to see if i can diagnose it pin point bad rings, cracked piston, bad injector ect. I do have a full version of forscan but, I'm not sure one the steps.
