Dealing With Checking in Existing Paint
(I just love this forum - where else can you ask bonehead questions and get serious answers?)
Our beater Taurus has solid paint everywhere except the hood which is evenly covered with fine checking - likely a repaint in the past. The paint is otherwise tight. To refinish the entire vehicle what would be the stategy for dealing with the hood?
