Inner fender/apron square nut replacement

One of my inner fenders was rusted out from the battery, the other looks good except 2 of the 3 square nuts for the hood mounting bracket have fallen out. I think I can bend the bracket to fit them back in, but where do I source these square nuts? Hardware store or is it a part that is commonly found elsewhere? Any advice or suggestions on technique securing the brackets once I get the square nuts? I know they serve the purpose of being slightly adjustable, so I want to leave them that way. Last resort will be a new one, but it doesn't seem necessary.

Try clipsandfasteners.com, mcmaster carr has a large selection of square nuts. You should be able to get a new square nut placed in there and tap the cage back over and tack weld it down.

Looks like maybe we are looking from below upwards under the inner fender towards or at the nuts that the hood hinge bolts use?

Are the hinges not slotted or holes large ovals, etc to allow adjustment? I don't know, just asking, as mine at those points have never been out.

Do you still have the ones that fell out?

Correct and I do not have the old nuts. Jetfixer-6 gave me a great link above, but I'm not sure which one to order.

It has been awhile since I repaired mine. I think I just tack welded the cage back on. I don't think the cage nuts from amk products are the right fit without seeing a better picture of the apron.

mcmaster has the same thing called snap in nuts https://www.mcmaster.com/products/ca...-snap-in-nuts/
the aligning nuts look more like what our trucks use https://www.mcmaster.com/products/ca...g-weld-nuts-7/
if you just need the square nut here you go...https://www.mcmaster.com/products/square-nuts/

Just the nut. Thanks for the link. I will figure out the size and order a couple.
