Going over the wireing Diagram for a 02 7.3l and for a 2014 6.7 in theory the 2014 pcm should be able to be programmed to run a 7.3l as the 6.7l PCM has a IDM built into it ?
I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on this or why its not possible to upgrade the 7.3 IDM and PCM to a new style PCM where it's all In one
2014 PCM is designed to drive piezo injectors, that’s a completely different driver system than the 7.3 uses. 2014 also doesn’t have the TCM built in like the 02 PCM does. No one is going to completely remake the code to program a 2014 PCM to run a 7.3
The 7.3 was a decent engine, but not good enough to warrant the expense & hassle of swapping it into another vehicle.
If you're looking to swap out the 6.7PSD for something else, then just do a Cummins conversion. Cummins swaps are common and the aftermarket fully supports them, they're like the diesel equivalent of a Chevy LS gasser swap and for good reason.

there is a guy that was recommended to me and have been chatting with him and he has and does have and sell a program to make the 6.7 pcm run the 7.3 and support the HS can so the 2014 dash will work with the 7.3 will up date more as I get the information

I have seen them but the cost is to much the 7.3 got rebuild last year and the trans maybe has 20k on it since rebuild and the 2014KR cost me 2100$ CAN the only reason for trying this was the cab and box on the 02 is ruff and the repair panels needed in canadian dollars ( rockers inner and outter cab cross members lower A pillers and doors as well as box ribs and fenders) far surpassed the cost of this KR that has a get body and interior

you have to follow his other thread(s)...also don't think english is his native language as can be seen on powerstroke.org
He has on 02 that had a rotten body, something about a 2008, 2012 which turned into a 2014 that he got for approx $600 USD. The 08, 12/14 are parts trucks. the 14 doesn't have an engine anymore, came from his buddy in Florida...something along those lines.
extremely confusing
for the OP, sounds like you found the right people with the proper knowledge for your project. Maybe you should start a build thread
